The place where you will meet your guide and pick up your bikes. You will start your tour just outside Royal Square. It is there that the very first work of the master in Barcelona is located - the lanterns. They are made in the spirit of Roman mythology. And by the way, they caused a serious scandal in Barcelona!
⏱ 10 min - 3
One of the most beautiful squares in Barcelona is located a step from the Ramblas in the center of the Gothic Quarter. It is called Plaza Real, which translates as Royal Square. It was named in honor of the Catholic Kings Isabella and Ferdinand and outwardly corresponds to its name.
⏱ 15 min - 4
The next place is Placa de Sant Jaume. At the moment, the square contains several administrative buildings of the city, including the governor house. This square in the historic center of Barcelona was named after the medieval church that was located here (the monument was destroyed in 1823). It was on this square that many important events in the life of medieval Barcelona took place, and it was here that the plague epidemic began, which almost completely devastated the city in the Middle Ages.
