On arrival at Kanchanaburi your first stop will be The Thailand Burma Railway Centre what is an interactive museum, information and research facility dedicated to presenting the history of the Thailand Burma Railway. The fully air conditioned center offers the visitor an educational and moving experience.

Enjoy a scenic long–tailed boat trip along Maeklong River to the world famous Bridge over the River Kwai, a part of Death Railway constructed by Allied POWs.

One of the most striking segments of the whole Death Railway line is "Extension on the River Kwai", which was worked over a stretch of a stream that was then known as a feature of the MaeKlong River. The center segment of the current Kwai River Bridge is unique in relation to the encompassing region. It has been pulverized by bombs and has been revamped. It was not the first appearance during World War II.

Visit Kanchanaburi War Cemetery which is memorial to some 6000 allied prisoners of war (POWs) who perished along the death railway line and were moved post-war to this eternal resting place. Then proceed for JEATH War Museum which is one of two war museums in Thailand about the Death Railway built from 1942 to 1943 by Allied POWs under the direction of the Japanese, a part of the famous Thai-Burma railways.
