Our tour guide will meet you at your Bangkok hotel lobby for pickup. Next, our first stop will be at Damnoen Saduak Floating Market.
⏱ 10 min - 2
Maeklong Railway Market is a traditional Thai market selling fresh vegetables, food, and fruit. The market is unique because it occupies part of a train line. A few times a day, a train runs directly through the market. A few minutes before the train comes, vendors lower their umbrellas and move some of their produce away from the train tracks. Some are left on the ground, with the train passing right over them. Amazingly, nothing gets damaged or broken, and as soon as the train passes, the vendors move their goods back onto the tracks and continue as normal (until the next train arrives).
⏱ 1 hour - 3
After lunch, you will head to Wat Phet Samuth Woravihan, a riverside temple that offers both spiritual significance and beautiful views. This peaceful temple is an ideal spot to learn about Thai culture and history while enjoying its scenic surroundings. The temple’s architecture and tranquil atmosphere make it a perfect place for reflection.
⏱ 1 hour - 4
Finally, visit the Wat Bang Kung is an ancient temple in Samut Songkhram, Thailand. It was built in the Ayutthaya period. It was the site of the Battle of Bang Kung between the Konbaung Dynasty and the Thonburi Kingdom.
⏱ 30 min - 5
Arrive at the jetty pier and take a long-tail boat ride along the winding canal to the floating market. Traditional Thai village life, old Thai houses, greenish gardens, and temples will be seen. On arrival at the floating market, it was almost untouched by the modern world. At the DamnoenSaduak Floating Market, you can see the active market life of people selling and buying things on their boats. There are different boats in all shapes and sizes, and you can find a variety of local goods, food, and fruits.
