In this unmissable stop we will discover the village of Vinci, famous for the Leonardian Museum (Vitruvian Man) housed in the Palazzina Uzielli and the Castle of the Guidi Counts. The Leonardo Museum is the oldest collection of Leonardo models entirely dedicated to the work of Leonardo scientist, technologist and engineer. From studies on flight to those on motion in water, from war machines to optics experiments, to to textile machines, the vastness of the Genius’ interests is documented in the museum that also houses the original Leonardo and Anatomy section on Leonardo’s studies of the human body. The terrace of the Castello dei Conti Guidi concludes the tour with a breathtaking view of Montalbano, which was a source of great inspiration for Leonardo. At the end of the visit of the old town we can enjoy a good homemade ice cream and / or a drink.
