Ka'Ena Point Mokulei'a section is a truly breath-taking remote location where the North and West shores of the island meet. It is said to be where the souls of the departed Hawaiian Kupuna (ancestors) jump off into the afterlife. Along with a large, sandy beach; there are tide pools and rocky coves which harbor native fish species. This is a great place to view native wildlife such as Hawaiian monk seals, Albatross and humpback whales from the shore if fortune favors. Ka'ena is a great place for hiking or picnics.

Waialua Sugar Mill is a historic sugar plantation that is now home to shops that feature local art, coffee, authentic souvenirs and one of the coolest surf shops on the entire island.

The epicenter of the surfing world, Haleiwa is a quintessential Hawaiian feeling town. The town center features incredible shopping, arts and local food with an old-world charm. With garlic-shrimp trucks, Polynesian treasures, surf shops and much more; this is a wonderful place to stop before heading up to see the famous North Shore surf.

Relax at Pua'ena Point Beach Park and soak in the views of the Haleiwa Harbor and Waianae Mountain Range. The tallest peak on the island, Mount Ka'ala can be viewed from the shore here. Honu (Sea Turtle) often nap on the beach here and the waters offer a good place to snorkel on calm days.

Shark's cove is a small rocky bay that is home to colorful schools of fish and turtles. Visitors can snorkel/dive in the clear waters to observe aquatic wildlife or cool off in a large tidal pool.
