The journey then takes us to Monteriggioni, one of the best-preserved fortified villages in Italy. Surrounded by impressive 13th-century defensive walls, this small medieval town is famous worldwide for inspiring settings in a popular video game where the protagonist battles the legendary Knights Templar.
