If conditions are favorable, your host will happily include viewpoints where Mount Fuji may be visible, but sightings can never be guaranteed and always depend on the weather.

No two days in Hakone are ever quite the same, so your host may adjust the route throughout the experience in response to weather, seasonal conditions, transportation schedules, crowd levels, and your evolving interests, ensuring you enjoy the best possible day rather than following a rigid itinerary.    Take in the beauty of Hakone's iconic volcanic lake on foot or aboard a sightseeing cruise if it suits your personalized itinerary. When weather and visibility allow, selected viewpoints offer some of the region's most memorable views of Mount Fuji.

   Visit one of Hakone's most iconic spiritual landmarks, nestled among towering cedar trees on the shores of Lake Ashi. Learn about its fascinating history while admiring the famous vermilion torii gate rising gracefully from the water.

Rather than following a fixed route, your Local Host may adjust the order of stops or recommend alternative transport options to avoid long queues and help you make the most of your time.
• When weather and visibility allow, your host will happily take you to viewpoints that offer memorable views of Mount Fuji. However, as these conditions are beyond anyone's control, sightings cannot be guaranteed. If seeing Mount Fuji is the primary reason for your trip, our Kawaguchiko day trip is specifically designed to maximize opportunities for mountain views and may be a better choice.
• This is a private walking experience, and no private vehicle is included. Your Romancecar limited express train tickets and Hakone Freepass are included, while additional public transportation or local taxis may be recommended where appropriate. Any additional transportation costs will be discussed with your Local Host before or during your experience.
