   Hakone Shrine is a famous Shinto shrine in Hakone, Japan, located at the foot of Mount Hakone by Lake Ashi. It is well known for its large red torii gates, especially the iconic “Torii of Peace” that stands partly in the water, creating a beautiful and photogenic view. The shrine is dedicated to the deities of the mountain and is believed to bring blessings for safety, good fortune, and fulfillment of wishes.
